Our RiverScape MetroPark location puts you right on the Great Miami River in downtown Dayton. No guide needed, no set schedule. Just pick your rental duration, grab your gear, and paddle at your own pace.

Whether you’re spending a quick hour on your lunch break or making an afternoon of it, the downtown stretch offers calm, scenic water perfect for all skill levels. We provide everything you need, including the kayak, paddle, and life jacket.

All rentals launch and return from the same location at RiverScape MetroPark. No shuttle needed.

Had a great time kayaking downtown! It was an amazing experience kayaking in the city while the fountains were going off. Charlie gave great insight on kayaking downtown and helped us enjoy our time to the max and more. Will definitely be going to more Taiters Kayak events throughout the year!

We had an amazing time kayaking for my son’s 18th birthday! The whole experience was smooth and fun from start to finish. The gentleman in charge was incredibly nice, helpful, and made everything easy for us. He was so pleasant and welcoming, which made the day even more enjoyable. We had a great time out on the water and loved being at Riverscape—it was the perfect setting for some Tuesday fun. Highly recommend this company for a relaxing and memorable time outdoors!

I took one of Charlie’s kayaks out at the Eastwood Metropark float show on the lagoon event recently. Charlie is great! He’s very friendly and knowledgeable. The kayak and equipment was in excellent condition. Overall I felt safe and had a really good time! I highly recommend Charlie and Taiters Kayak for your kayaking adventures!
